Dental Crowns & Dental Bridges

Our friendly and experienced team will guide you through your journey to restoring your smile and protecting your teeth.

Porcelain Crowns

Our dentists can provide high quality porcelain crowns for our patients who have damaged teeth or teeth that need extra protection such as following a root filling. A crown is a restorative measure utilised when an insufficient amount of tooth remains to hold a filling. We also offer dental crown repair for patients who have damaged crowns.

Prior to the placement of a porcelain crown, we will remove the damaged portion of your tooth and reshape the area as a base for the crown. An adhesive is then used to securely fit your crown to your tooth.

The ceramic used for your crown is matched to your natural tooth colour. When the procedure is complete, your new porcelain crown will look and feel like a natural fixture of your teeth.

Dental Bridges

Besides dental implants, there are two main ways to replace missing teeth. The first is with a removable false tooth or teeth: a partial denture. The second is with a fixed bridge.

A dental bridge is a solution that your dentist can provide for one or more missing teeth. Our bridges are created to look as natural as possible. We use ceramic materials to create replacement fixtures that look and feel like real teeth.

Your dental bridge will be secured using your existing teeth and can be used in combination with dental implants to re-create a natural looking smile with no gaps.

3 reasons why you should replace missing teeth

For the sake of your appearance and confidence.

Another is that the gap left by a missing tooth can mean greater strain is put on the teeth at either side.

A gap can also mean your ‘bite’ is affected, because the teeth next to the space can lean into the gap and alter the way the upper and lower teeth bite together. This can then lead to food getting packed into the gap, which causes both decay and gum disease.
